Arguably the best looking Lane cookie jar and tends to command the most money. A great companion to the Sheriff. Some are marked with the name R. Mickerson.

Mfg: Lane & Co. Height w/lid: 12" Marking: On bottom w/raised lettering that is hard to read (not crisp). (c) 1950 LANE & CO LOS ANGELES CALIF (Mine has no artist signature) Color inside jar: White. Note: this jar has been reproduced by "J.D.". The reproduction is about an inch shorter (11") and reads as above on the bottom in raised letters and also hard to read. It also have the R. Mickerson signature on the bottom also in raised lettering which is hard to read.
